“A Leader is a person you’d follow to a place you wouldn’t go by yourself.”
In order to be able to do so, one should develop several skills in order to inspire competence, confidence and courage to their team members. You might want to know more about the introductory sentence and how it relates to Leadership now.
A Leader is a person having a vision, an idea about a place, a status, a position which is relevant enough for him and his follower to leave their comfort zone and move.
A Leader should have the ability to formulate this vision and communicate it to potential followers. He will have to convince them and motivate them to take this path with him. Along the way, he will be alternating between the guide, the guardian and other roles in order to keep the team united and mobilised to reach its goals. If you are able to recognise what’s required for the situation and for the people involved, to adapt your behaviour accordingly, then you are on the path of being a leader.
We are gathering Trainers for the first Edition of Leadership Development Program that will be organised at Cite Universitaire, in Paris, to provide one of these key elements!
Stay tuned!
